The best way to drive Apartamentos San Matías

Please choose one of two possible routes. Once you arrive in Granada call 687 224169 or 697 301846.

You can use any of the three parkings lots which are situated 300 metres from the apartments. (See city map).

City Map

Please take exit 129 Recogidas / city center. Continue straight on this street. Neptune will see the mall on your right.

Later at about 200m you will find a yellow sign with vertical limiting access to traffic on this street. You can continue forward. Once you arrive in your apartment will be registered as a vehicle registration approved.

Al final de la Calle Recogidas should only turn right on Calle Ganivet.

Following you will find street parking Ganivet on your left, next to the hotel Meliá Granada. It is a good option to leave your vehicle. The apartments are located just 200m from the parking Ganivet added, should only take the Calle San Matias, where the church of St. Matthew to your right just next to it, is the apartment buildings in San Matías.

If the parking was full again find the same signal to ban access to streets that San Matías.Recuerde is approved. Turn left onto San Matías. 200m to find the apartment building San Matías just to the right. The church of St Matthias is a good reference. If it takes a lot of luggage you can download it, keep in mind that it is a one way street, you can stop about 2 min.

Follow the sign of the Champs Parking Plaza.

Congratulations have already arrived! Forget your car, you are in the historical center of Granada.

If once taken up the apartment, you wish to cancell the whole or partially of the stay, you won´t be paid back for the nights that you will not use.

A payment of 100€ deposit is necessary before receiving the apartment´s key, which will be remboursed on departure, once having verifyed the apartment´s inventry and the cleanliness conditions of the apartment.

The apartment will be at your disposal from 14:00h of arrival day till 12:00h of departure day.

Cancel Conditions

• if you cancel the reservation more than 15 days before arrival date, we wiil refund you the amount paid less 10 € for cancellation expenses.
• If you cancell the reservation between 15 and 7 days before arrival date, we wiil refund you the 50% of amount paid.
• If you cancel the reservation less than 7 days before arrival date, you will lose the amount paid.( the amount paid is the 50% of total amount).

After 12pm of the departure day, we don´t keep any luggage at our left-luggage room.

When you get apartment´s key, you will sign this conditions and you will get an invoice with the total amount and the deposit.

Situated 30 Km from Granada and only 100 Km from the Mediterranean sea, this beautiful spot has been declared a Biosphere Nature Reserve. Its outstanding mountain the Mulhacen, the highest one of the Iberian peninsula.

THE ALHAMBRA

The city of the Alhambra is the most important monument of Granada. It appeared in the IX century, a year after the Islamic occupation, on the top of the strategic hill of the Sabika and was the residence of the Nasrid dynasty during 250 years.

The sobriety of its outer appearance contrasts strongly with its interiour splendour and wealthiness.

The visitor will appreciate 4 different sections in the Alhambra ensemble:

• The Alcazaba. The most ancient part of the Alhambra, which was used as a military area.
• The Nasrid Palaces: The residence of the Nasrid monarchs.
• The Generalife; Summer residence of the monarchs.
• Charles the V palace; a majestic renaissance palace that the Emperor Charles V made it built during once of his visits to Granada. It was designed by Miguel Angel´s pupil, Pedro de Machucawho made this renaissance masterpiece, out of Italy.

THE ALBAYCÍN

Considered as the Islamic district of Granada. It is located in front of the Sabika hill, that afford us spectacular views of the Alhambra an the city of Granada from their splendid squares and delicious viewpoints, such as San Nicolás terrace, San Cristobal terrace and Plaza Larga square which are well-known all over the world due to their famous handicrafts local market.

THE SACROMONTE

The Cerro San Miguel-Sacromonte areais a natural environment, which is highly valued at a landscape, botanical and cultural level.

From here you can admire the complex of monuments forming the Alhambra, the lower city of the River Darro, the Albaycín, and the Sierra Nevada.

Its famous caves excavated in the mountain, were the gipsy’s built their dwellings, and nowadays some of them keep all its flavour and local colour such us Maria la Canastera’s cave, where you can enjoy gipsy’s zambra that is a dancing and singing’s flamenco show.

The Sacromonte abbey (XVII century) is worth a visit.

THE REALEJO

The district name, in the past was Al-fajjarin, means the former royal orchards owned by the Moorish families, that were situated in this area.

The most interesting spots of this district are the Campo del Príncipe (square situated in the lowest part of the Realejo), where you can taste many of the best “tapas” of Granada, Santo Domingo and San Cecilio churches and the Carmen de los Mártires with its marvellous gardens.

THE GRANADA’S HISTORICAL CENTER

It is situated around the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, where we can find a lot of vestiges of the Moorish and Christian past of Granada: the Corral del carbón (ancient moorish inn), the Alcaiceria with its prosperous commerce and the Bib-Rambla square, meeting point of the citizens.

We can not forget the important Christian past expressed in numerouses civil and religious buildings such us the RoyalHospital, head office of the university and a lot churches and monasteries, standing out the San Jerónimo and the Cartuja monasteries, and San Juan de Dios church.
